Welcome to Ingrain Wood Co. By accessing or using our website, requesting a quote, or purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. About Our Work


Ingrain Wood Co. creates handcrafted and CNC-crafted custom wood products, including furniture, fireplace mantels, signs, home décor, commissioned artwork, and other specialty woodworking.


Because many of our products are made to order, each piece is unique. Variations in wood grain, color, texture, knots, mineral streaks, and natural movement are part of the character of real hardwood and are not considered defects.


2. Quotes


Quotes are provided without obligation and are generally valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.


Pricing may change if project specifications, materials, dimensions, shipping requirements, or requested modifications change after a quote is issued.


3. Orders


Orders are considered accepted once payment or an agreed-upon deposit has been received.


Custom orders cannot begin until all project details have been approved by the customer.


Customers are responsible for reviewing all drawings, dimensions, spellings, artwork, and specifications before production begins.


4. Deposits and Payments


Custom projects may require a non-refundable deposit before production.


The remaining balance is due before shipment unless otherwise agreed in writing.


Failure to complete payment may delay shipment.


5. Custom Orders


Because custom products are built specifically for each customer:


  • Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
  • Design changes requested after production begins may result in additional charges and extended production time.
  • Minor variations from digital renderings are normal due to the handcrafted nature of woodworking.


6. Production Times


Estimated completion dates are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed.


Production times may vary due to material availability, order volume, weather, equipment maintenance, or other circumstances beyond our control.


7. Shipping


Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.


Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order has been delivered to the shipping carrier.


If your shipment arrives damaged:


  • Photograph the package immediately.
  • Save all packaging materials.
  • Notify both the shipping carrier and Ingrain Wood Co. within 48 hours.


8. Local Pickup


If local pickup is offered, customers are responsible for inspecting the product before taking possession.


9. Returns


Due to the personalized nature of our work, custom-made products are non-returnable and non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or contain a manufacturing defect.


Non-custom items may be eligible for return within 30 days if unused and in their original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.


10. Warranty


We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship.


If a product contains a manufacturing defect, please contact us promptly so we can evaluate the issue and determine an appropriate solution.


This warranty does not cover:


  • Normal wood movement
  • Natural checking or seasonal expansion and contraction
  • Improper installation
  • Misuse, abuse, accidents, or neglect
  • Damage caused by excessive moisture, heat, sunlight, or improper care


11. Intellectual Property


All website content, photographs, logos, product designs, artwork, renderings, text, and graphics are the property of Ingrain Wood Co. and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.


Custom artwork, CNC designs, and original carvings remain the intellectual property of Ingrain Wood Co. unless otherwise agreed in writing.


12. Website Use


You agree not to:


  • Use the website for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems.
  • Copy or misuse website content.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website.


13. Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ingrain Wood Co. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our website or products.


Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable order.


14. Governing Law


These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law principles.


15. Changes to These Terms


We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to this page.
